Brother Steve Wiest is the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church Combes, Texas.

He is a native of Middletown, New Jersey and a dedicated family man. Pastor Wiest is married to Nancy (Bell) Wiest also of Middletown, New Jersey. They have two children, Scott and Amy. Scott is married with three children. Amy is a single school teacher in a Christian School.

Pastor Wiest attended Middletown High School, Concordia College, Faith Bible College and Faith Bible Theological Seminary. Additionally, Pastor Wiest attended various other schools and extension courses in completing his degree requirements.

Pastor Wiest with his evangelistic style of preaching has reached many souls for Christ over the years. His teaching ministry is designed to ground the congregation in the truths of the Word of God and to provide them the platform to be effective witnesses for our Lord Jesus Christ in this community. Pastor Wiest with his grasp of practical Christianity gives everyone an encouragement for meeting the challenges of life as a child of God.
